Crazy Love

This one was hard for me, I haven't been able to photograph "crazed" well at all. I've seen some crazy things, for sure but it's been difficult to document. But things changed when the Van Morrison song, "Crazy Love" kept getting stuck in my head while I kept thinking about this idea of "crazed" and the many ways it's demonstrated in people. I kept seeing people in love, everywhere. And the benefit is that since lovers are so into each other, they oftentimes don't even notice that I'm snapping pictures of their public adulation for one another. Love, love, love, love, crazy love.

c-c-c-crazed

Habla Espanol? Ya, me neither. And yet, I am in this class. This weekend is all about reviewing all the Spanish I thought I had learned last year. It's been a year. And we're reading short stories. En sobre mi cabeza. Estoy loca, no?

School is not out for the summer.

Flabbergasted seems dramatic

Herrington girls aren't known for their subtlety. I may resent being labeled "dramatic" but I have to admit that I'm very reactionary. I respond with vivacity and excitement...and it's rarely quiet. I wouldn't claim to be truly flabbergasted here but, I was surprised (and since Rachel so kindly defined the word for us a few months back, I'm certain I've managed to photograph something that is at least close to "flabbergasting"). It's not often you walk around in a large city and are confronted by roaming and free chickens, that's surprising.
